Meditations for Busy People
Starting Wednesday, October 17, we invite you to the introductory meditation evenings entitled “Meditations for Busy People,” hosted by Mihai Popa-Radu, founder of the Seeds for Happiness Center.
The meetings will take place between 6:30 and 7:30 PM, on October 17, 24 and 31 and November 7, in the Happy room. They will consist of short meditation sessions (5-10 minutes) interspersed with conversations on the following themes: How can we learn to “capture” the Power of the Present? What is “meditation”? Our daily breath. Can I empty my mind of thoughts? Is meditation a religious practice? Meditation postures. Is it worth meditating?
Mihai began his meditation practice in 2006, participating in various meditation retreats in Austria, Italy, Japan, Switzerland, Romania, Hungary, the United States and Thailand, where he practiced under the guidance of masters such as H.H. the Dalai Lama, Ven. Harada Roshi, Ven. Sangye Khadro, Ven. Jampa Lungtok, Ven. Gonsar Tulku Rinpoche, Ven. Dhammaviddhu, Bill Karelis, Jeff Shore, Martine and Stephen Batchelor.
