Words toward freedom.

Do you like truths? I am sure you will answer yes! Do we also like those truths that show us exactly as we are? The ones that show us our weaknesses, prejudices, mistakes? We may be disturbed, made uncomfortable by these truths, and not be quite so enthusiastic about receiving them. Yet if those truths are the key to a better world, to our healing as humanity, will we still have hesitations, modesties or feelings of inadequacy? Perhaps yes, but the experience promises to be a healing one!

The book „Conscious Parenting” does exactly this: it speaks healing truths. And they are not even as painful as they might seem.

The human being is a special creature. We are born completely helpless physically and need a great deal before becoming autonomous. From the newborn stage, through infancy and childhood, the child absorbs everything, absolutely everything that is within reach. This is especially advantageous for the human species – in this way the cultural inheritance is passed on through hundreds and thousands of generations. This makes us human and differentiates us from other species.

What does this inheritance contain? Information, knowledge, behaviors. Does the child have discernment? Unfortunately not. And so, together with „the good things”, willingly or not, we pass on to our children much more: good and bad models, good and less good habits, fair judgment and prejudice, love and intolerance, gentleness and anger, trust and despair, examples of aggression, violence and cruelty.

If we are unhappy with the society we live in, with the whole world, it is time to learn that we and our parents shaped it this way through the way we molded our children, and through the way we ourselves were molded from the moment we were born and even before! Oh! How much better my life would have been if my parents had had the chance to read this book! And how much better it would have been for them too!

I recognize in this book an extremely simple, deep and authentic analysis, as well as equally simple solutions for healing the lives of our children and of future generations. I also recognize in this book my own reflections, my experience, the cases I have encountered, approached in a friendly, clear and positive way.

Parents have always shaped future generations. This book presents, synthetically, the most common errors in raising children and their consequences, in a balanced, friendly and responsible manner. This book does not propose complicated techniques, learned methods or efforts to „educate”. It proposes only that we be ourselves, aware that everything we do, feel and say in the presence of children will leave a certain imprint in them. And so, consciously, may we raise new generations that are whole, authentic, full of love and compassion.

I recommend that you read the book; it will set you free!
